Handbook

Standards

The baseline rules every player, ref, and match must follow across every TTCA tournament.

  1. 01Every match is officiated by a designated Referee (or the Host) who must apply to referee through the Sign Up form.
  2. 02Final match scores, eliminations, and Referee rotations must be reported by the match Referee(s) on the relevant forum thread as soon as possible. Suspected rule violations or requests for clarifications should be reported to the Host with as much detail as possible.
  3. 03Matches are organized by the Host based on player and ref availability, and posted in EST time. Participants are responsible for time zone conversion. Incorrect availability risks replacement.
  4. 04The server listed for each match is the server for the entire match (the meetup server). If no server is fair for both players, the match is played twice — once in each player's best server. Total match time can double, so plan availability accordingly.
  5. 05Complaints about uncontrollable factors such as lag will not be tolerated. Match interference and poor sportsmanship are strictly prohibited.
  6. 06Yellow cards: warnings. Max of 2 — any more results in a red.
  7. 07Red cards: result in a point for the opponent or disqualification. Given for serious violations or after 2 yellow cards.
  8. 08A yellow card is given if a player is chatting or AFK mid-game and then complains the opponent killed them.
  9. 09If a player leaves the match mid-game and is gone for over 10 minutes, a yellow card is given and the match is rescheduled. If they already have 2 yellows, a red (disqualification) is given.
  10. 10No secret alt accounts allowed.
